Do you know that one of the biggest causes of problems in technology related change is linked to the people involved? Both users and 'change agents' or technical/programming staff tend to speak 'different languages' and have a completely different understanding of the implementation process and future use.
Resistance, lack of involvement, even intentional sabotage, can be found in many implementations - and both parties can be blamed for this. Furthermore at times assumptions are made that resistance for example is completely negative yet it can actually be useful in understanding real issues.
